(Most Recipes are made by Chef Turtle. Any recipes that come from around the world might initially be someone else's, but Chef Turtle constantly changes them to make them unique for his product line. Some Signature sauces or recipes are family recipes made in the kitchen together with his mother.)

Hello everyone, my name is Damian Reyes, but you can call me Turtle. Now, they call me Chef Turtle. Let me give you a little backstory of how I started this company. In 2020, in Bowie, Texas, my mother had a significant stroke and got very sick. The stroke damaged how she ate, and she couldn't eat solid foods at all. Everything she ate had to be made in a milkshake-like meal. So, I decided to make some creations for her, and they were a hit. I decided to research sauces from around the world because my mother loved food from everywhere and made sauces to add flavor to her dishes. When my passion hit me, I wanted to be a chef, creating sauces and desserts for meals from all around the world. She then got hit with COVID-19, and in the hospital, she wasn't allowed to have food or drinks outside, but my mom is a rebel and loves pickles. She could only have juice, so we snuck the pickles in with it, and BAM, my different creations of juice pickles were formed. When my mom got home, she signed me up for a cooking contest on Channel 3 local Texoma news. I won the 2020 & 2024 Texoma Junior Master Chef Weekly Contest before I was too old to participate. (There is a picture of me with my winning dishes below somewhere. lol) But since that win, I have been doing what I love: making dishes from around the world and sometimes catering them to events. My future is to open a restaurant, but for now, I enjoy canning and selling at events or in stores until God blesses us with a location. In 2022, I inherited my mother’s four different flavors of salsa recipes and added my secret seasoning mix to them. WOW, to my surprise, it was another hit, and I won the Wichita Falls Farmers Association Salsa Contest for 1st place Community Choice. Nowadays, I'm often canning (with my mother's help, of course) my own creations and putting up others in jars to be sold at local vendor events, online, out in the community, and now here in our shop. Over the past few years, I decided which products I wanted to focus on the most and, honestly, what I like to create the most to jar up for the world to enjoy. I currently have a product line of over 120 products. My Goal for the future is to have a cafe with my family ministry on one side and my company on the other under one roof. Making a difference in our community. Wow, to my Surprise, I reached a Goal before I even turned 13 on Feb 14, 2024. I opened a resale shop in 2024. But I had to close it a few months later due to issues with the location, and I'm planning to look for a café location for my future growth plans. In 2025, I decided to partner with my mother to help me create some recipes to expand my palate. While I grow and focus my education to become a Food biologist at Midwestern State University, I aim to achieve my goals. That way, I can make food that will someday help people heal or at least be healthier. My mother is a self-taught at-home chef and doesn't really do what I do, but she does have a flair for fine dining. So, I'm happy that she is doing better and adding her expertise to our company.
